Earlier this month, Debbie C. Crans of Colorado State University was honored with an ACS National Award. Strem has been proud to sponsor the ACS Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Inorganic Chemistry for the past 20 years. Dr. Epraim S. Honig, Strem’s CEO, presented Professor Crans with the award at the ACS Banquet on Tuesday, April 2nd. Professor Crans was selected for this honor because of her contributions to fundamental coordination chemistry and speciation (especially of vanadium, her studies on metals in medicine and her exceptional leadership within the inorganic chemistry community. We would like to congratulate Professor Crans on her achievement and look forward to her further contributions to the field of chemistry.
