In April 2015, Dr. Ephraim Honig and R.J. Wolcik went to Washington, D.C. on behalf of Strem Chemicals, Inc. to participate in SOCMA’s 8th Annual Washington Fly-In. They met with Congressional Leaders and their staff about the proposed upcoming changes in chemical regulations. Specifically, they met with Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA, 6th District), Mr. Steven Snodgrass from Seth Moulton’s staff, Mr. Bruno Freitas from Senator Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) staff and Avenel Joseph, M.S., Ph.D., from Senator Ed Markey’s (D-MA) staff. Participation in this process allowed Strem Chemicals to effectively communicate their position on the issues small chemical companies face in the United States.
